Hi there, I am Rafaela Libano, a brazilian product designer. I am passionate about advocating for inclusive design practices and making experiences more meaningful and intuitive for end users.
I'm a graduate of PUC-Rio with a B.S. in Industrial Design. I spent 3 years in Japan, one of them for an international exchange during my college years and the other two as a researcher at the Yamanaka Design & Engineering Lab in the University of Tokyo, where I worked on the development of 3D printed prosthetic limbs. In 2020 I decided to migrate to digital products and have been working in this area ever since.
Outside of design, I am passionate about arts, crafts and music. I love the impact that art has on the soul and how different it is for different people. Creating things from scratch is the closest thing we have to magic, and I think that's magical ✨
